Let's share and change each other's plans for the weekend!
A new Thursday newsletter theme which I hope will become our tradition :)
Well, well, well, I can see your faces directly, "Is that her again?"
So, yes, that's me - Kate, aka Twocatsandpossum, here again, and yes, newsletters will now be published on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday around 11 am.
I didn't decide on the time yet. I would better let you do it :)
Yesterday my friend Melanie was sharing on Instagram excitement about adding to her Sandman collection on CheapGraphicNovels.com.
I was like, "What?! I'm all about graphic novels and comics, and I've never heard of CheapGraphicNovels.com! I should check what they have to offer for someone like me!" (creepy giggling is started here) :D
An hour later, I not only grabbed the Rivers of London Box Set but also decided to create a new Thursday newsletter theme called "Let's share!" where I will share with you all the exciting things I found during the week. And I hope you also share everything that deserves to be shared in the comments.
So, let's get started!
Except for the CheapGraphicNovels.com, my wife Oygul has brought home her great treasure - a new book by Stephen King - "Fairy Tale" and can't seem to let it out of her hands all week.
Like Gollum, from The Lord of The Rings, "My precious!", you know!
As an artist-entrepreneur, I almost can't afford to sit on the couch with a book to read. And can you imagine what my domestic Gollum will do to me if I want to read her Precious?!
So to avoid dying curious, I went to Amazon, signed up for a free Premium Plus trial from their Audible, and got a new King's "Fairy Tale" audiobook for free. Don't judge me here. I know I'm a terrible butt.
I hope I remember to cancel my subscription before the trial ends :D
Btw, speaking of Amazon and The Lord of the Rings, have you started watching The Rings of Power?
I'm waiting for more episodes to come out. I'm not a fan when the story breaks at the most exciting place, and you wait another two weeks to find out what happened there. Frankly speaking, I don't like watching movies at all. I love to read more.
But, you know, family time is sacred :D
The other day my wife persuaded me to watch "Where the Crawdads Sing" and at the end of the movie, we both sobbed like two old sentimental cows. So, now I plan to read the book too.
This is my plan for the weekend - book, maybe The Rings of Power, and we will probably also go to the park with a big thermos of hot pumpkin tea.
Ah, this plan is huge for me because I usually work on weekends, but I hope I have given you some ideas if you plan to watch or read something.
Share your "what to do" weekend stuff in the comments below and change mine and others' weekend plans.
Cheers!
Love y’all,
Kate aka Twocatsandpossum :)
