Peace will come to the world when people have enough noodles to eat - Momofuku Ando.
One day, instant noodle inventor Momofuku Ando, at the age of 61, was traveling on business in the United States.
It was the 70s—instant noodles firmly took their place in the world's life. Invented in Japan, they were a square block of dry noodles, the right size for a regular noodle bowl in any home in Asia.
Momofuku was walking through the back office of one of America's major supermarkets. He was about to meet one of the directors for a business talk but suddenly froze at the threshold of the employee dining area.
What he saw shocked him to the core.
